CAST

david greuselDavid Greusel

David has been, for more than 20 years, the tall guy in the cast, which merits him having his own microphone—which he shares with great reluctance. In his day job, David is founding principal of Convergence Design, an architecture firm dedicated to designing a more beautiful built environment. While with another firm, David was the lead designer of Major League ballparks in Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Houston, most of which are still standing.

john jessupJohn Jessup

On the high plains of the Nebraska Panhandle, our mostly retired all-hat, no-cattle rancher John Jessup hikes his little patch of paradise in the Wildcat Hills, searching for the elusive mountain lion he knows is lurking there; he's seen the huge pawprints! When not looking for big cat tracks, he records voice tracks for Kansas City Public Television from his home studio, sings and plays with the Green Valley Homesteaders bluegrass band, shoots pool in 8-ball league and 9-ball tournaments from Cheyenne to Deadwood and occasionally climbs aboard the motorcycle to ride the Rockies, the Black Hills or even to the coasts. But Right Between The Ears is still the most fun of all!

andi meyerAndi Meyer

This just in…Andi Meyer, (known to her friends and accomplices as "Andi Meyer") is returning for yet another season of RBTE. Reports say that she is still in residence with wonder cat Mr. Friendly. She has recently been seen in the presence of another cat said to be young, easily agitated, and carrying dangerous weapons. Andi has been known to frequent grocery stores late at night perusing the frozen foods and singing Joni Mitchell songs. If you should see Andi, take no action yourself but contact the Bureau For Sightings Of Asian People In The Mid-West, or the BFSOAPITMW. Andi has been seen onstage at the Unicorn Theatre, Theatre for Young America, The Missouri Repertory Theatre, the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and The New Theatre Restaurant. Return to top

kip nivenKip Niven

In over 30 years as a professional actor, Kansas City native (and KU Alum) Kip Niven has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, in regional theatres and summer stock, as well as in feature films, on network television, and in numerous commercials. As a young actor, Kip dreamed of tackling the challenging roles of theatrical literature -- Hamlet, Richard III, Henry Higgins, and Willy Loman. Thirty-three years later, he takes great pride and joy in getting together with several of his best friends at RBTE to make rude noises and talk in silly voices--all the while making grown people laugh 'til they hurt. Kip's wife, Beth, and nine-year-old daughter, Maggie, must be very patient and understanding. Return to top

Roberta Solomon

Making a living in voiceovers is tough, but if you're a woman living in Kansas City, it's darn near impossible. But don't tell that to Roberta Solomon, who's been a full-time voice artist since the mid-90's, and has carved out a varied, if strange, career for herself. Working primarily from a studio in her home, Roberta has been heard on promos for HBO, ESPN, Discovery and PBS, narrating documentaries for Nat Geo and Smithsonian Channel, and as the image voice of scores of radio and TV stations, including Kansas City's KCPT. Last summer, she became one of the few women to voice movie trailers when she landed part of the campaign for Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables," and was recently tapped to be the voice of a talking box of tissues on TV commercials for Tylenol. A longtime cast member of Right Between the Ears, Roberta was part of Kansas City's morning radio scene for years. While still in college, she donned a corset and made the leap to KSHB-TV as a horror host, warping a generation of children in the process. Although her creepy alter ego, Crematia Mortem, has now retired to a hook in the back of Roberta's closet, she continues to receive fan mail, and was recently featured in the documentary "American Scary." teri wilderTeri Wilder

When Teri's Rorschach test results revealed that her underlying nature was "sublime lunacy", laced with an intense need for outbursts of laughter and a penchant for hidden agendas, she knew she'd be right at home in Right Between The Ears. Known to the others in her head as "Super Sybil", she takes on gigs to feed her nature. Like co-hosting the Morning Show on KCFX-FM, 101 The Fox. The Sprint PCS Voicemail Lady. Voicing ommercials,
training films, museum displays. Performing her own songs on her self-titled CD, which you can order at her website. Singing at local churches, Quality Hill Playhouse, and weddings. This one's for you, Dad, from all of me! Return to top
